Precision mechanics
Located in La Flèche in the Sarthe region (72) in France, MPPL was created in 1989. Our family company is specialised in mechanical manufacturing as a subcontractor. Today, the second generation has taken over and employs up to 35 people.
At the beginning, our activity revolved mainly around tooling and mechanical assembly. Then, as we invested and with the aim of developing, our machine park and our machining processes evolved to the benefit of new technologies. This has enabled us to adapt to the constant evolution of the market and to offer our machining services in medium series.
We continue to place this desire for development at the centre of our actions. To achieve this, we work in partnership with our foundry and construction customers, taking into account the specificities of each.
Today, our core business is centred around machining, with milling of castings, digital turning and cutting activities. We work for various sectors of activity: foundry, construction, agriculture, handling equipment and automotive transmission.
In addition, we are equipped with production facilities that allow us to respond to a variety of part sizes ranging from a few kilos to several hundred kilos. Our machine park and our skills are composed of :
In addition, our preparation facilities with Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) or Computer Aided Design (CAD) together with our 3D control systems ensure our production capacity. They also ensure the necessary production quality for our employees.
Moreover, since 2002, our ISO certification also testifies to the quality of the organisation within our company. The last renewal took place in May 2021 according to the ISO 9001 version 2015.
Our three buildings (the last of which will be 1600 m² and will be delivered in 2020) bring our covered area to 5000 m², so they provide a real support in logistics. The various overhead cranes, our loading bay and above all, the available surface area allow us to further increase our storage and machining capacity.
Our collaboration with local partners specialising in cataphoresis, paint finishing, broaching, surface treatment and logistics is a real plus for our machining services.
Our wide range of machining centres allows us to adapt to the different needs of our customers. In addition, our 3D control equipment ensures production quality.
Equipped with NC saws with bar feeders, we carry out cutting operations. Our overhead cranes and robotic systems make such operations possible.
Thanks to the layout of our buildings and our various handling equipment, we are able to handle large volumes of material without logistical problems.
We work alongside local partners with whom we strive to develop ever more efficient tools.
We participate in the co-development and co-design of ever more efficient and aesthetic products.
